Bear Creek Mountain Resort Wedding | Kaelyn & Mike

I have been looking forward to the wedding of Kaelyn & Mike for quite some time.  This wedding was special to Maureen & I since we are both friends with Kaelyn from our job taking school pictures;)  I remember when she first contacted me about photographing her wedding and how honored I felt that she chose us.  Especially since she works as a wedding photographer!  But we had such a great time working with them all the way back to their engagement session in the rain.  They’re truly a great couple and there’s no denying that the camera likes Mike as much as Kaelyn does;)

I was also really excited to photograph at the Lockridge Furnace in Albertus, PA.  It was intensely cool to work there, as well as a little creepy since it has such an ‘abandoned town’ feeling.  We loved it.  The ceremony was at the Lockridge Furnace as well as the wedding portraits, then we headed over to the reception at Bear Creek Mountain Resort.  I had never been there before but it was perfect as well.

I have to thank everyone involved for such a great wedding.  Everyone was easy to work with and they planned the day perfectly.. Being able to take our time allows us to try some shots that we normally wouldn’t do; specifically the image of them standing in the remnants of the furnace.  Thank you Kaelyn & Mike for a great time.  Enjoy your photos.
