Well we’ve been in a relationship with Deb & Rob for the past three years. You’ll remember their 50s Ice Cream Parlor themed engagement session we did awhile back in New Jersey. These guys are a terrific couple. Full of laughs and Debs energy this wedding was a blast, not to mention the surprises. Held at The Michener Art Museum in Doylestown, PA. During the reception Deb had secretly found a way for Ed of the band Live to record a live performance of their first dance song. The look on Robs face was worth it. It was really an awesome moment to watch unfold.
I don’t know that you can get much happier than Heather and not even because it was her wedding day. She just radiates joy and Ali completely reciprocates it. It was such a joy to work with these two and their friends & family. Starting at Heather’s parents home which was absolutely gorgeous. Set on a hill complete with back yard pond we couldn’t ask for a better location to do pre wedding photos. We headed over to the Reading Public Museum. First we checked out the planetarium where the guests would dine under lanterns, drink at the moon & dance under the stars & light show in the dome. But first it was time for the ceremony. Just over the bridge Heather walked to meet Ali who was waiting at the head of the English garden beautifully laid out. After they said ‘I do’ We escaped with the couple and took a mini tour of the grounds, ending back at the museum where the cocktail hour was being held in the dinosaur exhibit. It was a really unique spot for a wedding and we had a fantastic time.
Stacy & Neil did it right for their wedding at The Allentown Brew Works. Their love for beer and each other was evident during their ceremony as they shared a beer to seal the deal. We had some fun with the guys as the groomsmen did their best as bartenders and the ladies posed down in the Silk Room with the barrels and pool table. After we were finished and the guests headed down to the after party, Matt & I ordered ourselves a drink well earned 🙂
Laura & Mike are the cutest. We arrived at the Sheraton Valley Forge to see Laura, all dolled up and ready to go. Matt & I led the ladies down to the lobby of the hotel where THE most gorgeous light was coming through. After we were through with the ladies it was the guys turn, cutting it close to the ceremony time we were short on areas we could be, so we opted for the hotels gym which made for some light-hearted “man” photos 🙂 Spontaneous is how we like to roll. There ceremony was held in the court yard in the middle of the hotel which left for a perfectly shaded occasion. After capturing the newly wed couple in their newly wed glory, it was time to party. The reception room was lit in a cool blue and the art deco mirrors, lights and wall structure really added an element of class. Even the outside of the building was up lit with that awesome blue, which we had to take advantage of with Laura + Mike after hours.
We were super excited to attend Stephanie + Mikes wedding at dog friendly, Stirling Mansion in Reading, PA. The architecture of the inside and out is just unbelievable. Details stuck in time color the walls ceiling to floor to curved windows. It was really beautiful and grand. While waiting for the girls to come back from the salon, we captured the succulent & brewing hops details in the flowers and the dog dedicated cupcakes to look like their pups. It was definitely an intimate and unique event. Stephanie, Mike & their wedding party were a definite adventure 🙂 to work with for portraits. They lucked out with a killer sunset to top the night off.
