Springfield Country Club Wedding | Meghan & Stephen

Since I woke up at 4AM this morning and couldn’t fall back asleep, I decided to start working on Meghan & Stephen’s wedding at the Springfield Country Club.  Saturday was an interesting day weather-wise; the sky had an ominous gray look to it as it rained on an off throughout the day.  We didn’t really know until just before whether the ceremony would be inside or outside.. But I was prepared for all scenario’s;)

Meghan really wanted to get some outside pictures and I was so happy that after the ceremony was over we were able to go outside and take some beautiful photographs of the wedding party and the newly wed couple.  They were great throughout and Maureen and I really had a good time at their party.  (It doesn’t hurt that Steve is a Flyers fan as well… see his cake below:)

As the night wore on I decided to go outside and try to take advantage of the beautiful scenery at the country club.  After walking around the building I looked out into the golf course and saw the picture that concludes this post.  As the drizzle fell and the fog began to materialize I ran to ask Meghan and Steve if they would come outside for a magical photo I had in mind.  They didn’t put up a fight at all and followed me onto the golf course without question!  I love when a good idea turns into a great photograph.  Thanks for a wonderful time and enjoy your pictures!
