Tina is a cousin of a past bride of ours, Jen. We were so excited to work with her and fiance, Steve. Apparently Tina’s poor weather on events luck actually turned for her for the session, after rescheduling due to pool painting and rain we finally got to meet up with them, and it was perfect out, no rain, no humidity, just beers and photosWe started out at a favorite spot of theirs, the Hop Angel Brauhaus on Oxford Ave in North Philadelphia. They wanted their pictures to reflect what they enjoy, which is good times and pool side days at Steve’s parents, where they’ve been hanging out since they first met in high school. We got a lot of grounds covered with these guys including a phenomenal sunset and sparklers! Thanks so much Tina & Steve, you guys were fantastic and loads of fun and charm, we can’t wait for the wedding. Enjoy!
Our couples and weddings just keep getting better and better. This weekends wedding brings us to Susan and Rick, coming from New Orleans for a home town wedding in West Chester, PA. They pretty much did everything themselves, decorations, flowers, DJ, the list goes on. We started out with Susan at her parents house she came down the steps in that dress, it was beautiful. We then headed to the ceremony and after they were hitched we took a few moments to grab some shots of them and their wedding party, after that they rushed off to the Knights of Columbus and proceeded to parade back to the reception, escorted by a 2nd Line Band, New Orleans style. It was one of the coolest things we’ve seen at a wedding. After that everything was a piece of cake, no strict schedule, they did as they pleased, it was a really really good time. They also had a huge screen that projected instantly instagram-ed pictures from the day, who knew you could do that? At the end of the night we were able to do some sparkler photos and even a sparkler send off Thanks so much Susan & Rick you guys were a joy to work with and you pulled off quite the wedding!
If I had to give an award for most enthusiastic bride, it may just have to go to Laura. Nerves gave way to pure excitement especially when she got into that dress. We started out with her and her ladies at the AKA Salon in New Hope, PA where Kyle, groom to be, also popped in for a quick touch up. These guys were bundles of fun to work with, tons of ideas, poses, props. It was fantastic. After the first look, where the ceremony would be held we traveled off to Washington’s Crossings. We took so many photos with the wedding party, everyone was a character, we swept the two of them away for some alone time and then over to New Hope, by the Bucks County Play House which had an awesome backdrop of a water fall and river. After the ceremony they came in with a rehearsed first dance and then we took even more photos at sunset and night fall. We ended the very end of the night with sparkler photos, which turned out awesome, thanks to everyone who helped with that, it was a great way to end the night. So thanks to Laura and Kyle for being so fun and open to work with you guys really pulled it off! Enjoy!
