B+W Film From Sarah & Brian’s Wedding

Mo & I have been talking extensively this year about how we can make our wedding images more creative and different than what everyone else offers.  One way that we have been experimenting is with using film.  I know most people think film is dead but there is a certain timeless, atmospheric quality inherent to film.

Anyways we decided to shoot a role of true black and white film at Sarah & Brian’s wedding a few weeks ago as an experiment.  You can view their ‘digital’ blog post HERE.  Wow.. we just got them back today (They had to be sent out to be developed and scanned) and I just love the way that they look.  We only shot one roll of film (24 images) throughout the day and only used the film camera when we had some down time.  Even so I love the way they look:)

We would like to shoot more film, both color and black and white.   We have  a lot of ideas that we are going to roll out because we want YOUR WEDDING PHOTOS to be unique and anything but ordinary.  So enjoy the b+w film photos below and let us know what you think or if you would like some film at your wedding.    Oh and the last image is a beautiful black and white image of Mo working hard at the reception:)
