We met some real mountain folk when we traveled up to Sciota, PA to the Old Mill, where we caught up with Erin & Chris and their lab Ace. He stole the show immediately. The Old Mill is an eerily beautiful place. We started off down the trail, across a bridge, through the woods, passing weird boarded up, abandoned houses, and barn rubble. We made it though, and the pictures turned out incredible! Points to you if you can spot Ace in several of the images, he was so well behaved and just wandered in and out of photos, which made for great shots of this little family. Thank you Erin & Chris, you guys were too cool and we can’t wait for the wedding. Enjoy!
When Jackie asked us for ideas for locations, we of course brought up Longwood Gardens, especially now that fall is here. So we met up with the couple at the entrance and we were off. We wandered to some of our favorite spots and construction on the grounds actually led us to some new hidden gems, specifically this staircase where the light was coming in perfectly. Jackie & Andy were so fun and natural in front of the camera, we really had a great time getting to know them, thank you guys & enjoy!
We had such a fantastic time with Ashlee & Brad down in Washington DC for their engagement session earlier this year, and now their wedding rolled around this fall at the perfectly picturesque, Manor House at Prophecy Creek Park. We started out with Ashlee and all of her ladies at her grandmothers house, she looked stunning from the start. Her two aunts walked her down the aisle, it was the sweetest thing. After her and Brad where hitched we went off to the Manor House. It was a rather cloudy rainy day, but that is perfect light for us, so we worked quickly and came out with some beautiful images of the couple and their wedding party, before the rain rolled back in. To top it off, all that rain turned into this awesome, eerie scene out back later that night, with fog looming over the water, we grabbed the couple and were able to compose a stunning, angelic (as Matt put it) portrait. Thank you Ashlee & Brad! You guys were so fun to work with, enjoy!
We had so much fun with Jayme & Tyler during their engagement session. These guys are two of the kindest people ever. Jayme looked absolutely stunning in her dress and birdcage hair piece. They held their wedding down at the Delaware Beach at the Addy Sea Bed & Breakfast. We love these intimate weddings, where everyone just does their own thing, they even had a friend help them out as a DJ, which was really entertaining. This wedding was so fun for us especially at the end of the night when we were able to capture the most epic portrait of them under the dark night sky. No moon, just our cellphones as lighting. Thank you so much Jayme & Tyler, you guys were great, thanks for trusting in us and having us be apart of everything! Enjoy!
Keri is one of the sweetest people ever, her wedding at Normandy Farms, was the perfect fall wedding. We met up with them on the grounds which were filled with cute white houses. Matt went and found her groom, Chris, and he awaited the first look at his bride. All of these clouds rolled in putting a soft light on the ceremony, which was gorgeous. And all those clouds made for a super purple and pink sunset that we were able to steal the couple away for. Lastly, all the houses are lit up at night so of course we snuck out and took that photo opportunity. Thank you Keri & Chris, you guys were too kind and fun to work with. Enjoy!
