We have been browsers of Terrain at Styer for years and have been absolutely dying to be able to photograph a wedding there. At the risk of sounding cliche, it is magical. You really feel like you’ve escaped to some sort of distant  farmland. Their attention to detail is remarkable. Caitlin’s dress, flowers and every other choice was well placed with this venue. We dropped them in a rural setting by a lone tree in Brandywine Creek State Park for their first look. After some moody and lovely posing from this bride & groom it was off to Terrain. The cozy reception room had several long tables that made everything feel at home. This is a venue we would love to repeat and explore further 🙂

We bonded with Stephanie & Mike at our first meeting over dogs. It might have helped that we had a 8 month old puppy of our own to lure them in 🙂 They wanted to incorporate their babies into the engagement shoot, as they were going to be part of the wedding as well. Their rescue Newfoundland, Hurley, and handsome Poodle, Odin. Its safe to say they stole the show. Stephanie and Mike chose Mike’s alma mater Lebanon Valley College for the shoot. Open spaces and spring blossoms were abundant, even though we had just had the years last snow :/ It was a walk in the park with these 4, we had a great time. Can’t wait till they all walk down the aisle in September at The Stirling Mansion in Reading.

Dawn & Sean’s wedding was held at the Northampton Valley Country Club in Philadelphia, PA. After posing for some stunning bridal photos, Dawn and the gang headed out to St. Albert The Great Catholic Church. Their son was a grade A ring bearer and stole the show. The venue makes for some gorgeous, spacious images for wedding party photos. It wasn’t a bad way to kick off spring.

Jennifer & Chris brought us up to north Jersey for their wedding at the Valley Regency in Clifton, NJ!  We ended up staying with Maureen’s sister who lives in the area so we didn’t have to do all of our traveling in one day;)  Chris was a total ham in front of the camera and their wedding party and families really made us feel at home and set the tone for a fantastic wedding ceremony and reception.  We had so much fun walking around the Valley Regency taking photos with Jennifer & Chris and the images definitely reflect the love they have for each other.  What a great wedding and thank you for letting us be a part of it!

Dog lovers, Meghan & Connor, were married at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort in York, PA. Meghan was in a brilliant room with a huge window and art deco greens and blues furnishing the room. The atmosphere was so warm, with her mom and dad and close gal pals as she came down all dressed and ready to get hitched. We traveled over to St, Josephs Church where it was still decorated with the holidays greens & reds. After the ceremony it was nearly dark but thanks to the holidays we had a beautiful spectacle of lights just outside the door. At the reception each table had a dog that was close to the couple photographed for the centerpiece. And the guests danced the night away under the wood beamed ceiling.
