The Merion Tribute House Wedding | Rose & Eric

I will never get tired of photographing weddings at beautiful old mansions;)  This past Friday Maureen and I went over to Merion Station just outside of Philadelphia to photograph Rose & Eric’s wedding at the Merion Tribute House.  You should view their engagement session HERE, especially if you like dogs;)

They’re a really great couple and were very easy to work with.  Once again I felt a little sad saying goodbye to them at the end of the night..  But Rose does makeup for brides in the Philadelphia area so hopefully we will get to see her sometime in the future:)  To all of my past clients I want to remind you that I offer a free portrait session after your wedding… so get in touch with me and don’t be a stranger!  This specifically applies to you Rose & Eric!

If you remember from their engagement session, Rose & Eric didn’t want to be too lovey in their photos and the same applied to their wedding.  We were however able to squeeze out a little affection.  A few things to note in the images below: 1. The book that Eric is reading is titled ‘Gay Courage’ and it is apparently a tradition started with his brothers wedding when they found that same book and took photos with it.  2. We really enjoyed the center pieces by Amaranth Florist, they were huge and I hope the images we took did them justice;)…3. The last image on the left is Rose, her sister and I after Rose pulled me onto the dance floor.  I’m not much of a dancer but I was able to grab a quick image before I could escape.

Thanks for a great time Rose & Eric and enjoy your photos!
