Wedding at The Curtis Center | Philadelphia, PA

We survived hurricane Irene and so did Sary & Duane!  You might remember their engagement session in Love Park and Belmont Plateau.  We have been looking forward to their wedding in the Atrium at the Curtis Center for a little while now… and we weren’t disappointed at all!

The Curtis Center is just down the street from where I live, so despite all of the flooding in the area we didn’t have any problems with our commute.  When we arrived at the Curtis Center the rain had stopped but it was very windy.  We had planned to take pictures before hand but decided to hold off until later in the day.  Luckily this worked out perfectly as the sun came out and we were able to go outside after all!

I’m sure Sary & Duane were stressed about the hurricane, but they didn’t show it at all!  They just enjoyed their beautiful wedding and we enjoyed photographing it.  We even used the remnants of Irene (See the broken tree branch shots below) in some of our images;)  We also really did it up with the detail shots as we love working with Cescaphe (see our Tendenza wedding).

So after a crazy weekend all that is left is the memories and the beautiful images that you see below.  Thank you both so much for a great time and it was truly a pleasure to meet and work with you and your families.  Enjoy your pictures!
