Family Portrait Session | The Jacobi Family

I haven’t done a family portrait session in a while… but when Maureen informed me that her sister, Arlene, was interested in some photographs of her family up in Queens, NY… I couldn’t refuse;)  We stayed with her sister Arlene, husband David, and their two beautiful daughters Kira (almost 3 yrs old) and Alexandra (1yr old).  We had a great time and it was nice to get away for a weekend… although driving to and from NY isn’t exactly relaxing;)  Luckily Maureen drove.

Some of the photographs below were taken in their apartment on Friday whereas the outside pictures were taken Saturday at Kissina Park.  It was certainly very interesting.. and fun.. working with Kira and Alexandra.  I had a blast!  I think I will try to do more family portraits in the near future.

Thank you Arlene and David for a wonderful weekend.  I hope you enjoy your pictures.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! These pictures are absolutely beautiful we couldn’t be happier. Some of my favorites are the timelapse swing photo, the family photo with Keira sticking out her tongue and the photo on the tree stump. Maureen and Matt really paid attention to comments we made in passing and captured the fun and excitement in raising two little girls.

This was also the weekend Alexandra started walking and the photo of me letting her go is priceless.

Thanks for capturing these precious fleeting moments!
