Meghan & Matt were such terrific people to work with. Us working with them has been in the making ever since we had a client contest a few years back, that her friends Dan & Kerry won. So we have been popping up in her Facebook feed for quite sometime. So when she was finally engaged she wanted us! It was too funny walking into the hotel room, with her friend, Dans sister, yelling “the McMasters are heeeere!” Good start to the day. We hung out with the ladies until Matt showed up for the first look. The Renault Winery had a gorgeous space outside, massive rustic wine barrels, and awesome landscaping, and even sneaking into the grape vineyard, it was perfect. Thanks so much Meghan and Matt we had so much fun with you guys, hope to catch up with you in the future, enjoy!
We got along so well with Olivier + Jacalyn, for their engagement session, earlier this spring, both have such a sense of humor and very sweet. We couldn’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Michener Museum in Doylestown, PA, after stopping by the grounds to get a peak a few weeks ago. We started out with Olivier and his groomsmen at the Joseph Ambler Inn, to get a few bow tie and jacket shots, then took the gentlemen outside. On our way to Jacalyn the weather gave way to some pretty heavy rains, but that didn’t stop a thing, after the ceremony, they had a little butterfly send off. and then it was off to take pictures. These guys actually ended up really lucking out. Pictures in the rain, then inside the museum, then the storm broke and we got to take everyone back outside. They got a lot of variety. The reception room is so neat, walls of glass, surrounded by the up lit walls of the once fortress of a prison the museum used to be, made for really awesome reception photos, and of course we had to sneak them outside for some night time and sparkler images. Thanks so much Jacalyn and Olivier, we had such a great time, and hope you did as well! Enjoy!
Nicole & Nick are a really sweet couple. We started out the day with Nick on the golf course, giving him a taste of what it is to be on the PGA tour. After playing sports photographers, we went back into wedding mode with Nicole and her ladies. We took the girls out to the grounds, which were so pretty. The Huntingdon Valley County Club has a long history, and the brick building and old trees were gorgeous to work with. A last minute and good decision to move the ceremony under the canopied back deck was made as it started pouring minutes before the ceremony. But no stress, because rain actually made for some stellar photos, and they also got a rainbow, so we lucked outThe reception was led by The Slippery Band and they put on a great show, the couple even got to be lead singers and cowbell players. It was such a great day, thanks Nicole & Nick!
